The main Stuut AI alternatives are HighRadius and Sidetrade at the enterprise end, Quadient AR (formerly YayPay), Versapay and Tesorio in the mid-market, the newer AI-native agents Monk and Fazeshift, and AccountsReceivable.ai if you want an AI agent that emails, texts and calls customers at a published monthly price. Stuut itself publishes no price. The right pick depends on your ERP, your invoice volume and whether you need the whole order-to-cash suite or mainly need overdue invoices chased and paid.
Stuut is one of the loudest names in AI accounts receivable right now. The New York company raised a 29.5 million dollar Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz in November 2025, with Activant Capital, Khosla Ventures and 1984.vc also in the round, and it pitches itself as an AI coworker that does the AR work instead of assisting the people who do it. That pitch lands with finance leaders, which is exactly why so many of them end up searching for what else is out there before they sign.
Facts below come from each vendor's own website and press releases and, where noted, Vendr's published purchase data. Vendors change pricing and connectors without notice, so get anything that decides your shortlist in writing.
What Stuut does, and who it is built for
Stuut describes agents for collections, payments, cash application, disputes and deductions, and credit, working across email, SMS and voice. Its homepage names SAP, Oracle, NetSuite and Dynamics as the ERPs it connects to and says deployment takes three to four days instead of the 6 to 18 months it attributes to traditional software. The launch announcement names ZoomInfo, Bishop Lifting, Honeywell and PerkinElmer as customers and lists manufacturers, distributors, CPG, logistics, outsourced services and medical devices as target industries. Stuut also announced a partnership with Microsoft around autonomous order-to-cash for enterprise customers.
The results it quotes are vendor claims: a 40% reduction in overdue balances, 70% fewer manual tasks and 37% faster DSO. Treat them the way you would treat any vendor's case-study numbers, as a reason to ask for references in your industry, not as a forecast for your ledger.
So the honest summary is that Stuut is built for mid-market and enterprise companies on large ERPs, with a real AR team whose work it wants to take over. The reasons buyers look at alternatives are practical:
- No public price. Stuut's own blog says it uses per-agent pricing with no implementation fees. It does not say what an agent costs, so there is nothing to compare a quote against.
- ERP fit. QuickBooks and Xero are not named on the homepage, which matters if your books live there.
- Company age. Stuut says itself that the technology behind it did not exist until recently. A young vendor can move fast, and it also has a short track record for a system that writes to your ledger.
- Scope. A team whose only real problem is late invoices may not need credit, deductions and disputes agents on day one.
What are the best Stuut alternatives?
Here is the shortlist with the facts that usually decide it: who the tool is built for, which ERPs it names publicly, whether it prints a price, and which channels it uses to reach your customers.
| Tool | Built for | ERPs it names | Published price | Customer channels |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stuut (for reference) | Mid-market and enterprise manufacturers, distributors, CPG | SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics | No, per-agent pricing, no figure | Email, SMS, voice |
| AccountsReceivable.ai | US small and mid-market B2B teams | QuickBooks and Xero on Starter, NetSuite on Growth | Yes, $299, $799 and $1,899 a month | Email, SMS, live AI calls from Growth |
| HighRadius | Enterprise order-to-cash | SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite | No (Vendr median about 12,973 USD a year) | Email, no live collection calls |
| Sidetrade | Large enterprise, multi-country | Confirm yours with the vendor | No | Autonomous outbound calls through its Aimie agent |
| Quadient AR (YayPay) | Mid-market, over about 10 million USD revenue | NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Sage 300, Sage X3, Acumatica, Business Central, QuickBooks Online | No, publishes a revenue floor instead | Email, no live collection calls |
| Versapay | Mid-market B2B with a payment portal need | NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Business Central, D365 F&SCM, MRI | No | Email and payment portal, no live collection calls |
| Tesorio | Mid-market SaaS and services | NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, Salesforce | No (Vendr median about 17,644 USD a year across 60 purchases) | Email, no live collection calls |
| Monk | B2B contract-to-cash, invoices that must go through buyer AP portals | Confirm yours with the vendor | No | Invoice submission into 600+ buyer AP portals such as Ariba and Coupa |
| Fazeshift | Enterprise and fast-growing software companies | NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Zuora, Stripe, Salesforce, HubSpot | No | Email and customer communications, calls not described |
Two patterns stand out. First, almost nothing in this category phones a customer. Stuut says it works by voice, Sidetrade places outbound calls, and we place live AI calls on Growth; the rest leave the phone with your own team. Second, only one tool on this list prints a price you can plan a budget around.
How much does Stuut cost?
Stuut does not publish a price. Its own content describes per-agent pricing with no implementation fees and no professional services charges, where an agent means an AI agent working a function such as collections or cash application, not a user seat. We found no credible third-party figure. In practice that means the cost scales with how many functions you hand over, so a quote for collections alone and a quote for collections, cash application and deductions can be very different numbers.
For context, the enterprise tools it competes with are also quote-only. Vendr's purchase data puts the median HighRadius contract near 12,973 USD a year and the median Tesorio contract near 17,644 USD a year. If you want to see who does publish a rate card, our accounts receivable automation pricing page lays out every vendor that prints one.
Does Stuut integrate with QuickBooks?
Stuut's homepage names SAP, Oracle, NetSuite and Dynamics, and QuickBooks is not in that list. If QuickBooks Online or Xero is your ledger, ask Stuut directly whether the connector is native, which edition it covers and how often it syncs. Among the alternatives, Fazeshift names QuickBooks, Quadient AR and Tesorio name QuickBooks Online, and AccountsReceivable.ai connects to QuickBooks and Xero on its entry plan. For a QuickBooks team whose real problem is that the built-in reminders stop after three emails, our page on QuickBooks invoice reminders by SMS and phone shows what the text and call steps look like.
Is Stuut worth it for a mid-market company?
It can be, if you run SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Dynamics, carry thousands of open invoices and want one vendor to take over collections, cash application and deductions together. That is the buyer Stuut is built around, and its customer list reflects it. It is a weaker fit if you are on QuickBooks or Xero, if you need a price before you take a sales call, or if your AR team is two people and the pain is simply that nobody gets to the 45-day invoices.
The question to answer first is which job you are hiring for. If it is the whole credit-to-cash process at enterprise scale, compare Stuut with HighRadius, Sidetrade and Fazeshift. If it is getting overdue invoices paid without adding headcount, a narrower tool that chases by email, text and phone will usually get you there faster and for less.
How AccountsReceivable.ai compares with Stuut
We are the closest alternative in one specific way: we are also an AI agent that emails, texts and calls customers, rather than a workflow tool that assigns tasks to collectors. The AI collections agent reads the ledger before every message, sends an email before the due date, a text once the invoice is late, a firmer text around day 15 and a live AI phone call on anything that keeps aging. Every reply is logged as a promise to pay, a resend request or a dispute, and payments are written back to the ledger.
Where Stuut is stronger, we will say so plainly. It names SAP and Oracle, and we do not. It sells dedicated agents for deductions, disputes and credit decisions, which matter a lot to CPG and large distributors. It has enterprise customers and serious venture backing behind it. If those are your requirements, it belongs on the shortlist ahead of us.
Where we differ is price and fit for smaller teams. Starter is $299 a month flat with email and SMS reminders, cash application and predicted pay dates on QuickBooks or Xero. Growth is $799 and adds live AI phone collections and NetSuite. Scale is $1,899 for multiple entities, SSO, API access and white-labeled messages. There is no percentage of what you collect and no implementation fee, and you can run the sample receivables book at the top of this page to watch the agent chase, collect and reconcile before you connect anything.
What to check before you let any AI agent work your receivables
Every tool on this list, Stuut included, will eventually send messages in your name and change records in your ledger. A few checks separate a smooth rollout from an awkward call with your best customer:
- Read-before-send. Ask whether the agent checks the ledger right before each message, or works from a nightly sync. A reminder about an invoice paid this morning costs goodwill.
- Write-back rights. Find out exactly which records the agent can create or change, and whether a person approves payment applications above a threshold.
- Inbound email handling. An agent that reads customer replies is reading text written by outsiders. Ask how the vendor stops a crafted message from steering the agent, the same question you would put to any AI agent security review, and what the agent is allowed to do on the strength of an email alone.
- Texting compliance. For SMS and calls in the US, ask about consent records, STOP handling, daytime sending windows and 10DLC registration.
- Exit terms. Confirm you can export every message, promise to pay and dispute note if you leave.
If calling is the capability that tipped you toward Stuut in the first place, our comparison of automated collection calls covers which vendors really dial out and what a live AI call sounds like to a customer.
Frequently asked questions
What is Stuut used for?
Stuut is used to automate accounts receivable work with AI agents: collections outreach by email, SMS and voice, cash application, payments, disputes and deductions, and credit decisions. It connects to SAP, Oracle, NetSuite and Dynamics and is aimed at mid-market and enterprise companies in manufacturing, distribution, CPG, logistics and similar industries.
Who are Stuut's competitors?
Stuut competes with enterprise order-to-cash suites such as HighRadius, Sidetrade and Billtrust, mid-market AR platforms such as Quadient AR, Versapay and Tesorio, and other AI-native AR agents including Monk and Fazeshift. AccountsReceivable.ai competes with it on AI-led collections by email, SMS and phone for smaller teams on QuickBooks, Xero and NetSuite.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Stuut?
Stuut publishes no price, so a direct comparison needs a quote. Among AI agents that text and call customers, AccountsReceivable.ai publishes its plans: $299 a month for email and SMS on QuickBooks or Xero, and $799 a month with live AI calls and NetSuite. There is no implementation fee and no percentage of collections.
Which Stuut alternative places collection calls?
Very few tools in this category call customers. Sidetrade places autonomous outbound calls through its Aimie agent, and AccountsReceivable.ai places live AI calls on its Growth plan. HighRadius, Quadient AR, Versapay and Tesorio do not place live collection calls, so the phone stays with your own team.
