Best AR Automation Software for Acumatica and AR Tools With Acumatica Connectors
Most AR automation vendors do not name Acumatica at all. Here are the ones that publish a connector, what each one costs where a price exists, which of them text or call, and what Acumatica already handles with dunning letters, credit holds and Acumatica Payments.

The best AR automation software for Acumatica comes from a short list, because most of the category does not name Acumatica at all. The collections-led platforms that publish an Acumatica connector are Quadient AR by YayPay, Kolleno, ezyCollect and AccountsReceivable.ai. Paystand publishes one too, but it sells payments acceptance rather than collections follow-up. Inside Acumatica, Crestwood Collections Management adds collection plans as a native add-on. Only AccountsReceivable.ai prints a US dollar price that covers Acumatica, and only it and ezyCollect publish SMS for Acumatica users.
That last point decides more shortlists than any feature grid. Versapay, Billtrust, HighRadius, Tesorio, Invoiced by Flywire, Gaviti, Upflow and Chaser are all serious products, and none of them lists Acumatica on its own integrations page. If a sales rep from one of them says "we can connect to Acumatica", what they usually mean is a custom integration project, priced and scheduled like one. This guide covers the vendors that publish the connector, what Acumatica already does on its own, and what each option costs where a cost exists. We build one of the products in the table, so treat our row as our own position and confirm every vendor's current connector with them directly.
What Acumatica already does for receivables
Acumatica covers the formal side of collections better than many mid-market ERPs. You turn on dunning, set levels on the Accounts Receivable Preferences form by days past due, and run Prepare Dunning Letters to collect every customer with a qualifying invoice. Letters are released and then printed or emailed. Overdue charges can be calculated and billed. Credit verification rules on each customer class put an over-limit or past-due account on hold, which stops new orders shipping to someone who is already late.
Acumatica Payments adds the other half: a pay link on the invoice, a customer portal where a buyer can pay several invoices at once, and since 2025 R2 payment links and QR codes on debit memos and overdue charges. For a customer who already intends to pay, that removes friction.
On the cash side, bank feeds and the bank statement import match deposits to open documents on rules you set. When a bank only sends PDF statements, or the matching keeps breaking on one account, a dedicated bank reconciliation tool can carry that part while Acumatica stays the ledger.
What Acumatica does not do is follow up after the letter. It does not text a customer, place a collection call, read the reply that says the invoice went to the wrong person, or turn "we will pay on the 15th" into a check on the 16th. The dunning email also uses one notification template for every level, so the usual community workaround is conditional text inside the dunning letter report. Every vendor below is selling into that gap.
AR automation software for Acumatica compared
The table lists what each vendor says on its own site or marketplace listing. Where a vendor publishes no price, we say so rather than repeat an aggregator guess.
| Vendor | How it connects to Acumatica | Channels | Published price | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AccountsReceivable.ai | REST API connector, reads open invoices, customers and payments, writes payments back for release | Email, SMS and live AI phone calls | $799 a month on Growth, $399 a month billed annually | Teams that want the follow-up done, not just tracked |
| Quadient AR by YayPay | Named connector on its integrations page | Email, customer portal, collector workflows; no SMS or calls published | None; pricing page asks for over 7.8 million pounds in yearly revenue, about 10 million US dollars | Larger teams with collectors who want a workspace and unlimited user seats |
| Kolleno | Listed on its integrations page, but on none of its published rate-card tiers | Email, SMS allowance, portal; calls placed by a person through the platform | Rate card in pounds only, from 650 GBP per user a month; Acumatica tier not stated | Companies comfortable with per-seat pricing and a UK vendor |
| ezyCollect | Lists MYOB Acumatica among its integrations | Email, SMS and postal letters | ERP setup from 900 USD depending on the installation; plan prices published for QuickBooks and Xero only | Smaller teams that want texts and letters in one tool |
| Paystand | Dedicated Acumatica integration page | Payments portal and bank-to-bank network; no dunning sequence, SMS or calls | None, and no third-party figure either | Companies whose real problem is card fees, not late payers |
| Crestwood Collections Management | Native add-on built on the Acumatica platform, validated for 2024 R2 to 2026 R1 | Email templates per plan step, tracked calls, notes and tasks | Not printed on the marketplace listing | Teams that want collectors working inside Acumatica screens |
| Acumatica-Twilio extension | Open-source customization from Acumatica's GitHub | SMS and notification calls to the billing contact | Free code, plus Twilio usage and the cost of installing it | Teams with a developer who want basic texts and nothing more |
Which AR automation tools have Acumatica connectors?
Quadient AR by YayPay, Kolleno, ezyCollect, Paystand and AccountsReceivable.ai each name Acumatica on their own integration pages, and Crestwood Collections Management runs as a native add-on listed on the Acumatica Marketplace. Of those, Paystand is a payments network and Crestwood is a collector workspace, which leaves four platforms that run automated follow-up from your Acumatica invoices.
The rest of the category stops at the cloud ledgers. Versapay names NetSuite, Sage Intacct and two Dynamics products. Billtrust lists distributor ERPs such as Infor, Epicor and DMSi. Tesorio, Invoiced and Chaser cover NetSuite, Intacct and the small-business ledgers. HighRadius names SAP, Oracle, Dynamics and NetSuite. Gaviti names no system publicly at all.
Does Acumatica have accounts receivable automation?
Partly. Acumatica automates dunning letters by level, overdue charges, customer statements, credit holds and pay links through Acumatica Payments. It does not send text messages, place collection calls, read customer replies or track promises to pay. Most Acumatica teams keep the ledger, dunning levels and credit rules where they are and add a tool for the follow-up that happens between letters.
How much does AR automation for Acumatica cost?
For most of the shortlist you will not know until a sales call. Quadient AR and Paystand quote privately, Crestwood does not print a price on its listing, and Kolleno's published tiers leave Acumatica off entirely, so expect its Enterprise conversation. ezyCollect is the closest to transparent, with ERP setup from 900 US dollars depending on the installation, though its monthly plan prices are published for QuickBooks and Xero rather than Acumatica.
Two costs get missed in almost every Acumatica evaluation. The first is the implementation partner: if your VAR has to build or adjust the integration, their hours belong in the comparison. The second is per-seat creep. Kolleno charges per user, so three collectors cost three times one. Quadient AR includes unlimited user licenses, which helps if your credit team is large. AccountsReceivable.ai is a flat monthly plan with SMS and AI calls included and no per-message fee, so the price does not move when you add a collector or send more texts.
Which tools send SMS payment reminders for Acumatica?
ezyCollect and AccountsReceivable.ai publish SMS for Acumatica users, and Kolleno carries an SMS allowance on its plans while leaving Acumatica off its published tiers. Outside the AR platforms, Acumatica's open-source Twilio extension and ClickSend's per-message integration can send texts, but they do not read replies or stop when an invoice is paid. We cover those trade-offs on the Acumatica SMS payment reminders page.
The question to ask any vendor is not "can you send a text" but "does the text check Acumatica before it goes out". A text about an invoice the customer paid this morning does more damage to the relationship than no text at all.
How to choose between them
Start from the problem you are actually trying to solve, because the vendors split cleanly by it.
- Customers pay late because nobody chases them consistently. You need an automated sequence across channels. AccountsReceivable.ai, ezyCollect and Kolleno fit, and the deciding questions are price model, whether texts and calls are included, and whether the vendor connects to Acumatica on the tier you would buy.
- You have a credit team and want them working better. Quadient AR gives collectors a workspace with unlimited seats, and Crestwood keeps them inside Acumatica. Neither texts or calls for you.
- Card fees are the real cost. Paystand moves payers onto bank-to-bank rails for a flat subscription. Ask what share of your payers will actually convert, because the savings depend on it.
- You only want a basic text and have a developer. The Twilio extension is free to download, but plan for someone to test it on your Acumatica version and maintain it after each upgrade.
Questions to ask before you sign
- Is Acumatica on your published integrations page, and which Acumatica version and endpoint do you support?
- Which objects sync, in which direction, and how often? Invoices and customers only, or payments and credit memos too?
- When a payment is applied, is it written back to Acumatica, and does it arrive released or for us to release?
- Does every reminder check the live Acumatica balance before it sends?
- Are SMS and calls included in the plan, metered, or sold as credits?
- Is Acumatica covered on the tier you are quoting, or only on Enterprise?
- What does our implementation partner need to do, and who pays for those hours?
Where AccountsReceivable.ai fits
AccountsReceivable.ai connects to Acumatica through its REST API using a connected application you create, reads open invoices, customers and payments, and works every overdue invoice on a schedule you set: an email before the due date, a text when it goes late, a firmer text around 15 days, then a live AI phone call as it keeps aging. Replies become promises to pay, resend requests or disputes, each with a next step, and applied payments are written back to Acumatica as payment documents for your team to release. The details are on the Acumatica accounts receivable automation page, and every plan is listed on the AR automation pricing page.
If you are comparing Acumatica against other mid-market ledgers in the same group, the Sage 300, Sage X3 and Acumatica connector guide shows who covers each one, and the Quadient AR competitors page goes deeper on the one collections-led rival that also publishes an Acumatica connector. Run the sample receivables book above to see the exact reminder each of your late customers would get before you connect anything.
