AR automation

Sidetrade competitors and Sidetrade alternatives for collections, including HighRadius, Esker, Billtrust, Quadient AR, Emagia and Stuut

Sidetrade's closest competitors are HighRadius, Esker and Emagia for large companies that want the whole order-to-cash suite, Billtrust and Versapay for B2B sellers whose customers need a payment portal, Quadient AR (formerly YayPay) for mid-market teams on NetSuite, Sage or Acumatica, Stuut among the newer AI-agent vendors, and AccountsReceivable.ai for US teams that want an agent to chase by email, text and live phone call at a published monthly price. Sidetrade is the one to beat on calling. Its Aimie agent places autonomous outbound collection calls, and almost nobody else in this category does.

So why do teams look past it? Mostly size and shape. Sidetrade is a French company listed on Euronext Growth, it reported 61.4 million euros of revenue for 2025, and it says companies with more than 2.5 billion euros in annual revenue now make up over half of its subscription portfolio. It publishes no price. Its rollout is a project with a services team, and the contract terms are written for global shared-services centers. A US company billing 20 or 200 million dollars a year can end up paying for multi-country capability it will never switch on.

The table below compares each vendor on who it is built for, whether it prints a price, which ledgers it names, and what happens after a customer ignores the email. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the table says so. Confirm current terms before you sign. To see the chasing itself, run the sample receivables book in the tool above and watch the agent chase, collect and reconcile.

Why it works

What your team gets with a Sidetrade alternative

A collections manager comparing two printed AR software proposals next to a laptop with an aging report

Sidetrade calls customers, and that is rare

Sidetrade states that Aimie places first-contact calls, follow-ups and voicemails on its own, at up to 1,000 calls a day, 24 hours a day five days a week, in up to 29 languages. HighRadius, Esker, Billtrust, Quadient AR, Versapay, Tesorio and Gaviti publish no autonomous calling. If calls matter, the honest shortlist is short: Sidetrade, Stuut (which says it works by voice), and AccountsReceivable.ai, which places live two-way AI calls on the Growth plan.

A price you can read before the first meeting

Sidetrade lists no prices. It has described its AI agents as a fixed monthly subscription priced per agent with a cap on monthly executions, with no figures attached. HighRadius, Esker, Billtrust, Emagia, Quadient AR and Stuut are quote-only too. If you need a number for a budget request this quarter, AccountsReceivable.ai charges 299, 799, 1,899 or 2,998 USD a month, half that billed annually, with no per-user fee and no cut of what it collects.

Match the ERP before you match the features

Third-party profiles list Sidetrade connectors for SAP, Oracle Fusion Cloud, NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics 365, plus a REST API. Billtrust leans toward distributor ERPs such as Infor, Epicor and QAD. Quadient AR names the widest mid-market list, including Sage 300, Sage X3 and Acumatica. If your books are in QuickBooks or Xero, most of this field does not name your ledger, and AccountsReceivable.ai connects to both on Starter.

Keep Sidetrade if you run collections across countries

Sidetrade earns its place when you collect in many languages and currencies, run a shared-services team, and want credit risk, disputes, deductions and cash application on one platform. Gartner has named it a Leader for invoice-to-cash applications, and its payment-behavior data is built from trillions of dollars of B2B transactions. If that is your situation, the alternatives here solve smaller problems than yours.

What it handles

Chased, collected and reconciled on autopilot

The agent syncs your invoices, chases each one across email, SMS and phone, applies incoming payments to the right invoice, reconciles your ledger, and predicts when every customer will pay.

  • Chases every open invoice by email, then SMS from your own number, during your customer's business hours
  • Places live, two-way AI phone calls on Growth that answer questions and record a promise to pay
  • Connects to QuickBooks or Xero on Starter and NetSuite on Growth, or starts from a CSV aging export
  • Checks the live balance before every message, so a customer who paid this morning is never chased
  • Matches incoming payments to open invoices and reconciles them
  • Publishes its price in US dollars, month to month, with no per-user charge and no percentage of collections
ON EVERY INVOICE In order
  1. 01 Sync Reads the open invoice, its terms and the billing contact from your ledger.
  2. 02 Chase Escalates from email to SMS to a live AI call as the invoice ages.
  3. 03 Track Logs replies, disputes and promise-to-pay dates against the invoice.
  4. 04 Apply Matches the incoming payment, reconciles the ledger and closes the invoice.
Nothing sent without your approved tone

Chases every invoice

Applies the cash

Incoming wires and ACH batches are matched to the right invoices automatically, so your ledger reconciles and you never chase an invoice that already paid.

Cuts your DSO

A predicted pay date for every open invoice and steady follow-up bring DSO down week over week, so more cash lands when you need it.

Good questions

Questions about a Sidetrade alternative

Sidetrade's main competitors in accounts receivable and order-to-cash are HighRadius, Esker, Emagia, Billtrust, Quadient AR (formerly YayPay), Versapay and Serrala, with newer AI-agent vendors such as Stuut and AccountsReceivable.ai. Company-data sites sometimes list unrelated software firms as competitors; the ones above are the vendors buyers actually shortlist against Sidetrade.
For a global enterprise, HighRadius, Esker and Emagia cover the same breadth. For a B2B seller that needs a customer portal, Billtrust and Versapay. For a mid-market team on NetSuite, Sage or Acumatica, Quadient AR. For a US team that wants email, text and live AI calls at a published price, AccountsReceivable.ai.
Sidetrade publishes no price list. It has described its AI agents as a fixed monthly subscription priced per agent with a capped number of executions per month, but gives no figures, and the full platform is quoted by module. Treat any dollar range on a directory site as unsourced unless it names real purchase data.
Yes. Sidetrade's Aimie agent places autonomous outbound collection calls, follow-ups and voicemails, and Sidetrade states it can run up to 1,000 calls a day, 24 hours a day five days a week, in up to 29 languages. That makes it one of very few AR vendors whose software holds the phone conversation itself.
Yes, but the list is short. Stuut says it engages customers by email, SMS and voice. AccountsReceivable.ai places live, two-way AI calls on its Growth plan at 799 USD a month, or 399 billed annually; the agent answers questions from the invoice record and writes down the promise to pay. Most other AR suites leave calls to your team.
Sidetrade calls itself system agnostic and says its connector list changes often. Third-party profiles list prebuilt connectors for SAP, Oracle Fusion Cloud, NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics 365, plus a REST API, and note no NetSuite SuiteApp listing. If you run QuickBooks, Xero or Sage Intacct, ask for a reference customer on your exact ledger.
Both are enterprise order-to-cash suites. Choose Sidetrade if autonomous calling in many languages matters, since HighRadius publishes no calling agent. Choose HighRadius if you want the broadest set of AI agents across credit, collections and cash application, or an outcome-based price. Neither publishes a rate card, so compare written quotes.
Quadient AR fits mid-market companies on NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Sage 300, Sage X3, Acumatica or QuickBooks Online, includes unlimited user licenses and focuses on pay-date prediction and a portal. Sidetrade fits larger, multi-country companies and adds autonomous calling. Neither publishes a price.
It can be, but check the shape of the deal first. Sidetrade says companies above 2.5 billion euros in revenue make up over half of its subscription portfolio, and implementations are services-led. A US company with a small AR team usually gets more from a tool that connects to its ledger in days and publishes its price.
Tools that publish a rate card are the easiest to compare. Chaser starts at 259 USD a month for US companies, banded by revenue. AccountsReceivable.ai costs 299 USD a month on Starter, or 149 billed annually, and 799 USD a month on Growth with live AI calls and NetSuite. Neither charges a percentage of what it collects.
Five things. The named connector for your ERP and edition. The all-in yearly price, including services and any execution caps on AI agents. What the tool does when a customer replies or answers the phone. Whether texts and calls come from a US number in your customers' time zones. And the notice period and data export terms in your current Sidetrade contract.
