Best AR Automation Software for Sage Intacct: Vendors, SMS and Pricing Compared
Sage Intacct has dunning levels and a Collections module, but it never texts, calls or splits an unexplained ACH batch. Here is how the vendors that publish an Intacct connector compare on SMS, phone follow-up and published pricing, which popular names do not connect to Intacct at all, and the five questions to ask before you sign.

The best AR automation software for Sage Intacct depends on which half of receivables is failing. If invoices go out and get ignored, you need a tool that chases across email, SMS and phone: Chaser, Kolleno, Invoiced by Flywire and AccountsReceivable.ai all connect to Intacct and send texts. If the pain is unapplied cash, look at Tesorio, Versapay or Paystand. If you are enterprise with dozens of entities, Quadient AR by YayPay is the collections-led option with the broadest ERP list. Only three of these vendors print a price, so budget accordingly.
Sage Intacct is a strong ledger, and that is why the collections gap surprises new Intacct shops. The aging is accurate, the dashboards are configurable, dunning levels exist, and the overdue invoices still sit there because a notice is not a follow-up. This guide covers what Intacct does for AR on its own, how the vendors that publish an Intacct connector compare on channels and pricing, and what to ask before you sign. We build one of the products in the table, so read our row as our own position and verify every vendor's current capabilities with them directly.
What Sage Intacct does for accounts receivable on its own
More than most mid-market ledgers. Intacct delivers invoices, handles recurring and contract billing, tracks aging in real time, and has native dunning: you define dunning levels by days overdue and amount owed, set a threshold so a trivial balance does not trigger a letter, schedule the run, and choose print, email or both per customer. The Collections add-on turns that into a managed process with case ownership and task queues. The 2026 R1 release added Customer Payment Services powered by Fortis, so Intacct can take electronic payments and reconcile those specific transactions itself.
What is left over is the part that costs a collector their week. Intacct does not text anyone. It does not phone the customer who ignored three notices. It does not read a reply that says "we never got the invoice" and resend it. And cash that arrives outside its own payment path, the lockbox check or the ACH batch covering nine invoices with remittance in a PDF, still needs a person to split and match. Our page on Sage Intacct accounts receivable automation walks through each of those gaps against the native feature that almost covers it.
What is the best AR automation software for Sage Intacct?
Pick by the failure, not by the feature grid. Intacct teams usually fall into one of three camps, and the right vendor is different for each.
- Invoices are correct and customers simply do not pay on time. You need a chasing engine with more than one channel and a price you can budget. Chaser, Kolleno and AccountsReceivable.ai are the three here that publish a rate card; Invoiced by Flywire and ezyCollect are quote-only alternatives with SMS.
- Payments arrive but nobody can apply them. You need cash application depth and forecasting. Tesorio is the best-reviewed platform in the category and certified for Intacct; Versapay pairs cash application with a collaborative customer portal; Paystand replaces card fees with its own bank-to-bank network.
- You run many entities, high invoice volume and a staffed credit team. Quadient AR by YayPay and Versapay are built for a team that works a queue every day, and both expect you to have that team.
How the vendors with a Sage Intacct connector compare
Every vendor below publishes an Intacct integration on its own site, checked in September 2026. "Ask" means the vendor does not state it publicly, not that the feature is missing.
| Vendor | SMS reminders | Phone follow-up | Published price | Best fit on Intacct |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chaser | Yes, on credits | Credits for automated calls | Yes: $259, $779 and $1,169 a month, banded by company revenue | SMB to lower mid-market teams that want a price up front |
| Kolleno | Yes, an allowance per tier (100 and 200 a month on the published tiers) | Human-placed through the platform | Yes, but in pounds: 650 GBP per user a month and up | One or two collectors on a single entity |
| Invoiced by Flywire | Yes | Tasks for your team | No | Teams that also want a customer payment portal |
| ezyCollect | Yes | Scheduled call tasks | No | Trade credit businesses that want credit checks alongside reminders |
| Upflow | Yes, billed as a usage fee | Usage fee | No, quoted by invoice value; Intacct sits on a higher plan | SaaS and services companies running over $10M in invoices |
| Tesorio | No published SMS | No | No; Vendr reports a median around $17,644 a year | Cash forecasting and cash application for mid-market |
| Versapay | Ask | No | No; Vendr average about $5,423 a year from only 4 buyers | Dispute-heavy B2B billers who want a shared portal |
| Paystand | No | No | No, and no third-party figure exists | Moving customers off card fees onto bank payments |
| Quadient AR by YayPay | Ask | No | No; qualifies companies above roughly $10M revenue | Staffed credit teams across many entities |
| AccountsReceivable.ai | Yes, on every plan | Live AI phone calls on aged invoices | Yes: $799 or $1,899 a month flat for an Intacct shop | Teams with no spare collector who need the chasing done, not organized |
Three names you may expect are missing on purpose. Growfin publishes no Sage Intacct connector at all (its named ledgers are NetSuite, Oracle Fusion, Dynamics 365, SAP and Zoho Books), and Billtrust's published ERP list is built around distribution systems and does not name Intacct. HighRadius says it supports 50 plus ERPs but names only four, and Intacct is not one of them. If any of them is on your shortlist, ask for a live Intacct customer reference before the second call.
How much does AR automation for Sage Intacct cost?
Published and reported figures put most mid-market Intacct teams between roughly $3,000 and $20,000 a year, with enterprise suites above that: Chaser's entry plan is about $3,100 a year and Tesorio's reported median is about $17,600. The honest problem is that only a handful of vendors publish anything. Chaser prices in US dollars by company revenue: $259 a month under $5 million, $779 under $13 million, $1,169 above that, with SMS and call credits on top. Kolleno charges per user in pounds, so three collectors on its entry tier is roughly 1,950 GBP a month before annual discount. AccountsReceivable.ai is flat: Starter at $299 covers QuickBooks and Xero, so an Intacct team is on Growth at $799 or Scale at $1,899, with SMS and live AI calls included and no percentage of what gets collected.
For the quote-only vendors, the best public benchmarks are peer contract data and they come with caveats. Our breakdowns of Tesorio pricing, Versapay pricing and Chaser pricing show where each number comes from and how thin the sample is. Watch for three add-ons that move a quote more than the base fee: a per-user charge once a second collector needs access, payments processing fees on the vendor's own portal, and per-message SMS pricing.
Can Sage Intacct send payment reminders by text?
No. Intacct's dunning notices go out by print or email only, and there is no SMS channel anywhere in Accounts Receivable. Texts about Intacct invoices always come from a connected tool. That matters more than it sounds: a text to an AP contact the day after an invoice goes late is usually read within minutes, while the third emailed notice sits unopened. If SMS is the gap you are trying to close, our page on Sage Intacct automated SMS covers consent, 10DLC registration and how to make sure a text never goes to a customer who paid this morning.
Questions to ask every vendor before you sign
- Is the Intacct integration two-way, and how often does it sync? Reads without writes leave your team updating two systems. A nightly file means chasing customers who paid today.
- How does it handle multiple entities? Intacct shops almost always run several. Ask whether sequences, sender names and applied cash stay per entity, and whether a customer who buys from three entities gets three reminders on the same morning.
- Who does the chasing after go-live? Most platforms in this market organize a collector's queue. If you do not have a collector with spare hours, a better queue changes the reporting and not the cash.
- What does a second user, an SMS, and a payment cost? Get all three in writing. They are where a $500 quote becomes a $2,000 invoice.
- Can we see it running on a live Intacct customer? Not a sandbox. An account on a real Intacct instance with real entities.
One side note for Intacct shops evaluating AR and AP together: several vendors in this space sell both, and the bundle is often priced to look cheaper than it is. If the AP bottleneck is really keying supplier bills, a dedicated tool for reading supplier invoices into structured data is usually a smaller purchase than switching your whole receivables stack to get it.
Where AccountsReceivable.ai fits
We are built for the first camp: Intacct teams whose invoices are right and whose customers still pay late, with nobody free to follow up. The agent syncs open invoices, customers and entities from Intacct two ways, chases each overdue invoice from email to SMS to a live AI phone call as it ages, reads the replies, applies incoming cash and posts it back to Intacct. If your real problem is disputes or a portal your customers will not use, one of the vendors above is a better fit and we would rather you buy the right thing. The step-by-step setup is in how to automate accounts receivable in Sage Intacct, and every vendor's published connectors sit side by side on our AR software ERP integrations page.
Frequently asked questions
Does Sage Intacct have AR automation?
Partly. Sage Intacct automates invoice delivery, recurring billing, aging dashboards and dunning notices by level and amount, and the Collections add-on adds case ownership and task queues. It does not send texts, place calls, read customer replies, or split a lump-sum payment across invoices without remittance. Those steps are what third-party AR automation tools connected to Intacct take over.
What AR software integrates with Sage Intacct?
Vendors publishing a Sage Intacct connector include Chaser, Kolleno, Invoiced by Flywire, ezyCollect, Upflow, Tesorio, Versapay, Paystand, Quadient AR by YayPay, Centime, BILL and AccountsReceivable.ai. Growfin, Billtrust and HighRadius do not name Intacct on their integration pages. Always confirm the connector is two-way and ask for a live Intacct customer reference.
Which Sage Intacct AR tools include SMS reminders?
Chaser, Kolleno, Invoiced by Flywire, ezyCollect, Upflow and AccountsReceivable.ai all publish SMS for Intacct customers, though the pricing differs: Chaser sells credits, Kolleno includes a monthly allowance, Upflow bills it as usage, and AccountsReceivable.ai includes it on every plan. Tesorio, Paystand and HighRadius publish no SMS channel.
Is Sage Intacct Collections worth it instead of an AR tool?
It is worth it if you have collectors and the problem is organization: who owns which account and what happens next. Collections gives each overdue account an owner and a task queue. It does not do the chasing itself, so if your team has no spare hours, it gives you a tidier backlog rather than faster payment.
How long does it take to connect an AR tool to Sage Intacct?
A collections-only rollout on a clean Intacct instance usually takes days to a few weeks. Adding cash application, a payment portal or many entities can stretch it to a quarter. The hidden cost is nearly always cleaning customer contact data, which is your work whichever vendor you choose.
