AR automation
Paystand competitors and Paystand alternatives compared: Versapay, Billtrust, HighRadius, Quadient AR, BILL and Invoiced
Paystand's closest competitors are Versapay, Billtrust, HighRadius, Quadient AR by YayPay, BILL and Invoiced by Flywire. Paystand is different from all of them in one specific way: it is a payment network first, sold on removing card processing fees rather than on chasing invoices. You pay a flat monthly subscription instead of a percentage of every transaction, and Paystand's own pricing page claims the average user cuts their cost to transact by 49 percent.
The fact almost no comparison mentions is that Paystand publishes the widest ERP connector list in this entire category. NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Sage 300, Sage 100, Sage X3, Acumatica, Dynamics 365, Dynamics F and O, Microsoft GP, SAP, Infor, Workday, Odoo, QuickBooks Online and Xero are all named, each with its own integration page. Quadient AR is usually credited with the broadest mid-market coverage and it does not reach that far. If your ledger is Sage 300, Sage X3, Acumatica or Dynamics GP, Paystand is one of very few vendors that publishes a named connector at all, and that is a genuine advantage worth stating plainly.
Where Paystand stops is the chasing. It publishes no dunning sequence builder, no SMS reminders and no outbound calling, because collecting is not what the product is for. We build a competing collections product, so read the last row of the table as our position rather than a neutral verdict, and confirm pricing directly with each vendor, because Paystand publishes no figures and neither do most of its rivals.

Why it works
What your team gets with a Paystand alternative
Decide first whether you are replacing fees or replacing chasing
Paystand and most of the names on this page solve different problems, which is why head-to-head reviews of them read so strangely. Paystand attacks the cost of getting paid: move customers off cards and onto its own bank-to-bank network, and the 2.9 percent disappears into a flat subscription. Versapay, Quadient AR and Invoiced attack the time it takes to get paid: reminders, escalations, disputes and cash application. Pull your last ninety days of invoices and check which number is actually hurting. If you paid 40,000 dollars in card fees last year, Paystand is the right conversation. If your DSO is 68 days and nobody has time to phone anyone, a fee-elimination platform will not move it.
Paystand publishes more ERP connectors than any rival here, and that is under-reported
Check your own ledger against each vendor published integrations page before you compare a single feature, because those lists disagree far more than the marketing does. Paystand names NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Sage 300, Sage 100, Sage X3, Acumatica, Dynamics 365, Dynamics F and O, Microsoft GP, SAP, Infor, Workday, Odoo, QuickBooks Online and Xero. Versapay names NetSuite, Sage Intacct and two Dynamics products, with neither QuickBooks nor Xero. Billtrust names Infor, SAP, Oracle, Epicor and distributor systems, with no QuickBooks, Xero or Sage Intacct. HighRadius says fifty plus ERPs but names only four. On a mid-market or older ledger, that single check removes most of this page in about ten minutes.
Nobody here publishes a price, and Paystand is the most opaque of the group
Paystand pricing page carries no dollar figures, no tiers and no minimum, only the words zero transaction fees and flat monthly rates plus a request for an ROI analysis. What makes Paystand unusual is that the third-party sites have nothing either: the aggregators that normally reconstruct a starting price from deal data all show contact sales at one, ten and a hundred users. For most vendors here you can at least anchor on peer contract data. For Paystand there is no public number at all, so your only leverage is a competing written quote. BILL is the one exception on this page, publishing 49, 65 and 89 dollars per user per month plus receiver fees.
What it handles
Chased, collected and reconciled on autopilot
The agent syncs your invoices, chases each one across email, SMS and phone, applies incoming payments to the right invoice, reconciles your ledger, and predicts when every customer will pay.
- Chases every overdue invoice across email, then SMS, then a live AI phone call
- Connects to QuickBooks, Xero or NetSuite in days with a two-way sync
- Escalates on a schedule you set, without anyone remembering to send the reminder
- Applies incoming payments to the right invoice and reconciles the ledger
- Flags short-pays and disputes early instead of finding them at month end
- Flat monthly fee, no per-seat pricing and no percentage of what it collects
- 01 Sync Reads the open invoice, its terms and the billing contact from your ledger.
- 02 Chase Escalates from email to SMS to a live AI call as the invoice ages.
- 03 Track Logs replies, disputes and promise-to-pay dates against the invoice.
- 04 Apply Matches the incoming payment, reconciles the ledger and closes the invoice.
